As part of Formpipe's effort to deliver modern, web-based applications, we are removing some legacy features from Autoform DM in the upcoming major release, Autoform DM 11, expected in 2025.

Autoform DM 11 will no longer support connections from the DM Client and the applications that run via the Client.

Similarly, the legacy SOAP-based web services currently provided will be removed, and any future integrations must be built against the REST API.

These changes, together with a comprehensive modernization of the user interface and additional integration tools, will help us to deliver new functionality faster. Additionally, they will eliminate the testing, support, and maintenance overheads associated with legacy systems and facilitate modern, streamlined integrations into the archive.

Furthermore, eliminating these features will help us provide the most secure solution by minimizing potential security risks and discontinuing support for legacy protocols.
