New Features and Fixes

The purpose of this section is to outline the new features and fixes of the components of Lasernet Version 8.13.

Windows Server 2019 Support

Windows Server 2019 is officially supported from this version onwards.

Azure Hybrid Connection

A new input module Azure Hybrid makes it possible to connect HTTP-based client/servers across the internet, via Azure, without having to poke holes in firewalls or use VPN tunnels. This acts as a reverse proxy relaying communication via a channel in Azure.

Fixes and Minor Enhancements

Fixes and new minor features.

Lasernet Service

• We have fixed an issue where JobEvents were causing job trees in the database to be retained indefinitely.

Lasernet Developer

• Filtering, for supported mimetimes, is now removed for the setting Default Destination available in most input modules.
• Fix for crash when right-clicking an object in Diagram -> JobMode.

Lasernet Form Editor

• Support for migration of Lasernet 6.6 forms with broken rearranges.
• Support for displaying base64 encoded EMF images in forms.
• Fixed an issue where hyperlinks in PDF may not always be clickable in Adobe Acrobat.
• An underlined font, in a text string aligned as justified, led to an unexpected break between words. This is now fixed.

Lasernet XML Transformer Editor

• Fix for crash when moving up/down actions quickly in list view.

Lasernet OCR Editor

• Added support for refreshing Identifiers without the need to restart the Lasernet Service. 

Lasernet Meta

• Added support for refreshing Identifiers without the need to restart the Lasernet Service.

Web Server Input

• Fixed a race-condition during deploy/patch of configuration while job(s) from Web Server ànd Web Service Input are still running.

Database Commands

• Fixed an issue where stored procedures could not be added.

Mail Output

• There is now support for SMTP mails with Danish characters in the domain name.
